The workshop will take place on January 25 & 26, 2025, at the Central YMCA, 1 Nikolaou Germanou St., Thessaloniki, Room 4.

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Participation Eligibility

Only Physiotherapists who are members of the Hellenic Physiotherapy Association (PSF) are eligible to participate.
The maximum number of participants is 16.
Digital materials will be provided to participants.

The aim of this workshop is to immerse participants in a well-structured clinical reasoning process to develop competence and confidence in evaluating and treating patients with cranio-mandibular dysfunctions (TMDs).

Emphasis is placed on the development of an advanced clinical examination process, including the upper cervical spine (UCS), masticatory muscles, and the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

Participants will be introduced to the process of differential diagnosis among clinical cases, including cervicogenic headache, cervicogenic dizziness, and somatosensory tinnitus.

The practical part will include special UCS and TMJ assessment tests, specialized palpation techniques, and therapeutic Manual Therapy techniques according to the training framework set by the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT).
