Clinical Pilates Institute® is pleased to announce a special educational weekend led by Maximilian Stöhr, Director and Trainer of the Atelier Pilates School.
The weekend will include the ABC Course and two practical workshops: Pathologies of the Spine and Pilates & Scoliosis.
ABC Course
In-person participation
The ABC Course is a 1-day, 8-hour course and represents the most important and compulsory step in order to gain access to any of the Pilates Courses.
For Maximilian Stöhr, this course is the foundation through which students begin to understand how complex the Pilates Method - or, more accurately, Contrology - truly is. Through this course, he aims to pass on the knowledge he received during his personal education from different “elders”, direct students of Joseph Pilates, and to help participants understand the essential difference between teaching movements and simply teaching exercises.
Workshops
In-person or Online participation
Pathologies of the spine
A practical workshop focused on the most common pathologies and how to support people through safe and effective movement.
Pilates & Scoliosis
A practical workshop exploring how oblique control can support spinal alignment, movement quality, and scoliosis-focused Pilates teaching.
Teaching Material & Certification
Participants will receive Manuals in English and Certificates of Attendance.
Eligibility to Participate
It's open to anyone willing to know the real fundamentals of the discipline, originally called Contrology.
Language
Formal language is English. Translation will be available if needed.
